Last Tuesday night, Nike setup some night surfing at the Seaside Reef in Cardiff – North County San Diego. With a smoke machine, spot lights and underwater lights illuminating the surf, surfers hit the waves with a live band and DJ jamming in the background.

Vestal at the F Yeah Fest in LA on Saturday

THE-POSTER-10-web

Vestal has teamed up with the FYF Fest (F Yeah Fest) to “Save Our State Parks” this Saturday, September 5 at the Los Angeles State Historic Park. This year’s festival lineup includes Vestal featured artist Black Lips along with Tim & Eric, Lightning Bolt, Lucero, No Age, Dios & more!

The goal for this years FYF Fest is to provide a low-cost event of great entertainment while raising awareness of the possible closure of up to 100 California State Parks. Due to the recent budget cuts, California State Parks are left without basic funding to keep the parks open. Another aspect of the festival is the Volunteer Program which will place focus on educating the public about local organizations whom are working hard to create a positive change in the community.
